Situated on the banks of the river Cher, at the heart of the Loire chateaux region, the Chateau de Fontenay cultivates its 15 hectares of vineyards in a sustainable way, in Touraine and Touraine Chenonceaux AOP.

Harvested and aged on the estate, our wines allow their history-infused terroir to be expressed. They are cultivated with respect for nature which is both rich and fertile.

Located in the heart of the Loire valley, our domain is deeply linked to the Chateau de Fontenay, witness of the French history.

His northern terroirs offer a great variety of soils, in which the vineyard draws the elements needed for a balanced development.

Since 1680, according to our books, le Chateau de Fontenay works his vineyard in symbiosis with nature. Even more today than yesterday.
