About this producer:

Located near the city of Chinon on the right bank of the Vienne river in fairytale Chateau region of the Loire Valley, it was originally a farm in the Chauveau family. In 1969 Gerard Chauveau, an architect from Paris moved to the estate, planted vines and devoted his occupation to making quality wines. His son David, now winemaker, has achieved numerous awards and consistently crafts outstanding wines of character from vines grown in richly diverse soils. The charming Marie-Claude Chauveau, Gerard’s wife, oversees this breathtakingly beautiful estate.
