Quercy is located in Southwestern France, in the Lot and Garonne, not too far from the Cahors region. Les Vignerons du Quercy is a small group of dedicated producers, who joined forces to make quality regional wines that are fairly priced, with an emphasis on allowing the terroir to express itself. The first vines were planted in the Gallo-Roman era, but it wasn’t until the year 630 that the vineyards flourished. The Manifeste comes from the oldest parcels, that are harvested at just the bon temps of maximum maturity. Francis Jeansou heads up this group of vignerons, the new ambassadors of these emblematic terroir driven wines. His sage and knowledgeable guidance ensures that the wines are consistently appealing and enjoyable year after year.
